Gloster Apple

An Autumn apple variety, that ripens in September. In Europe, it is one of the most popular varieties for commercial use. Main advantage is: excellent marketable view. These are beautiful large apples with yellow skin, almost completely covered in red-burgundy blush. The pulp is sweet, juicy with a slight tart. These apples are well at tolerating long distance transportation due to their dense and waxy skin and they can be stored until mid-spring.
